The Re-Livestock project is pleased to share information about an upcoming advanced training course focused on the role of data, technology, and innovation in shaping the future of livestock farming.
The course, titled “Creating Added Value in Precision Livestock Farming”, will take place in Madrid, Spain, from 4 to 8 May 2026. It offers an intensive learning experience for professionals interested in applying sensor technologies, data-driven approaches, and artificial intelligence to livestock production systems.
Course objectives and content
Participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience on key aspects of Precision Livestock Farming (PLF), including:
- Hands-on experience with PLF sensors and technologies
- Skills in data standardization and machine learning
- Understanding of AI applications in livestock management
- Insights into regulations, ethics, and data ownership
- Field trips to innovative livestock operations
The course is designed to highlight how technological innovation can create added value for livestock systems while supporting sustainability, efficiency, and resilience.
