Consolación García Contreras (CSIC EEZ) attended the 333 Experience Congress in Catalonia, Spain, as a pig nutrition expert and representative of the Re-Livestock project.

During the roundtable “How to improve and evaluate environmental impact, efficiency, and animal welfare in pig production”, Consolación presented the key strategies being developed within the Re-Livestock project, with a focus on nutritional approaches that reduce the sector’s carbon footprint. She emphasized how these strategies help make pig production more resilient to climate change while maintaining efficiency and sustainability.
