Stakeholder Forums Workshops Complete
The first round of 13 stakeholder forum workshops has successfully concluded, bringing together 151 stakeholders, 46% of whom were farmers. These workshops provided invaluable insights and perspectives on how each case study can enhance resilience and promote sustainable farming innovations. Additionally, they offered learnings on the facilitation process and the experiences of the facilitators conducting the workshops. Reports indicate that the workshops have been an effective means of engaging key actors, particularly farmers, who are instrumental in driving meaningful change toward more resilient livestock systems for the future.

Stakeholder Forum Workshops Round Two
Building on the resilience concepts explored in the first round, preparations are underway for the second round of workshops. These will focus on engaging stakeholders to envision the ideal resilient farm of the future (2050). Three pilot workshops have already been conducted in Spain, the U.K., and Sweden. Insights from these pilots were shared during a facilitator workshop at the recent General Assembly in Edinburgh. During this session, facilitators discussed the challenges they faced and collaboratively identified strategies to address these challenges moving forward. Feedback from this session will be instrumental in refining the facilitation of future stakeholder forums.
The second round of workshops aims to build on the foundational concepts discussed in the first round, providing a platform for stakeholders to collaboratively shape a vision for resilient and sustainable farming systems in the future.
