Re-Livestock was at the 75th EAAP Annual Meeting in Florence, Italy! Session 1 focused on integrating mitigation and adaptation breeding strategies. Highlights included the Global Methane Genetics program and various definitions of methane concentration phenotypes in dairy cattle.

Discussions covered the productivity and thermotolerance of beef cattle and the heritability of methane phenotypes in Spanish Holsteins. Posters on thermotolerance in dairy cattle were also featured.
