Re‑Livestock partners from the Poznań University of Life Sciences (PULS) participated in the EAAP‑ASAS Conference on “Livestock farming and the environment: emissions and solutions”, held in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira Island (Azores, Portugal), from 19 to 21 April 2026.
The conference brought together researchers and stakeholders to exchange views on environmental challenges facing livestock production, with a particular focus on emissions reduction and practical mitigation solutions. Participation in EAAP‑ASAS provided an important opportunity to share ongoing Re‑Livestock research and to engage in discussions on how science can support more sustainable livestock systems.
Beyond the conference programme, the event also enabled exchange and networking among Re‑Livestock partners, including a meeting with project partners from Italy, further strengthening collaboration within the consortium.
Participation in international forums such as EAAP‑ASAS contributes to enhancing knowledge exchange, visibility and cooperation, supporting the development of more sustainable and resilient livestock production systems.
