An experiment to assess the effect of shower protocols on Dairy Cattle is under development in a commercial farm in Bétera (Valencia, Spain)!
100 animals were equipped with collars to monitor behaviour, including heat stress (Allflex Livestock Intelligence TM). Different shower protocols were implemented and both, behavioural and productive information from animals was gathered.
The experiment started in mid July and it is expected to end by October ’23!
